Yoo Jae-suk Reveals Why He Doesn’t Do Variety Shows with Kang Ho-dong “I Can Hit Him for Life”

On Jan 25th, the YouTube channel “DdeunDdeun” released a video featuring PD Na Young-seok and comedian Ji Seok-jin as guests.
In the video, Yoo Jae-suk reminisced about the past, “Na Young-seok was the ace at KBS.” Ji Seok-jin chimed in, “Na Young-seok, PD Shin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jung were all aces back then.” Yoo Jae-suk recalled working with PD Shin Won-ho on KBS2’s “Super TV Sunday is Fun – MC Battle: Fearful Kkung-kkung-tta” (2002~2003), where PD Shin Won-ho was an assistant director at the time.

Yoo Jae-suk commented, “Some people might still remember ‘Kkung-kkung-tta’, but others might be like, ‘What even is that?’” Na Young-seok mentioned, “There are still a lot of memes about it. The scenes of playing slap-match games and you hitting Ho-dong are popular.”
In response, Yoo Jae-suk said, “I’m finally saying this now, but I have the right to hit Ho-dong for the rest of my life. He might not even remember, but he can’t say anything if I hit him.” Yoo Jae-suk explained that he won a slap-match game against Kang Ho-dong in the past, securing the lifelong right to hit him as part of the game’s wager.
